COUNSELOR
Chris Carpenter - LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor
Chris has a true calling to be a counselor. His passion is filled watching his clients meet their goals and watch them reach the point of positive self-esteem and confidence for their future endeavors, as they strive for the positive future they want and deserve. His friends and family say that he is definitely in the field that best suites his skills and personality, as he has a laid-back demeanor, is a great listener, and is very compassionate.
Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who currently holds a license in Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
Chris has been in the counseling field for over 14 years, working both in agency and private practice. He uses multiple therapeutic methods, such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, and Christian Counseling, tailoring to each client’s needs.
Chris has extensive experience working with children and adolescents from ages 3 to 18 years old, and dealing in areas of anxieties, depression, suicide, anger management, gender identities, and the list goes on. He also has a great deal of experience in working with adolescents, adults and their family who are dealing with addictions and substances use. He has worked with all ages in areas of trauma and PTSD symptoms as well as those with Bipolar and Borderline Personalities.
LIFE COACH
Jamee Carpenter – Certified Life Coach and Addiction Recovery Coach
Jamee has a passion for helping others become the best version of themselves! After teaching for almost 10 years, she decided to take that passion for helping others and building a positive community, and extend it by becoming a Life Coach where she helps clients leverage their strengths, reach their goals, and achieve their highest potential. Her family and friends describe her as caring, organized, encouraging, creative, observant, honest, resourceful, and a good listener, which serves her well as a coach.
Jamee is a Certified Professional Life Coach and Addiction Recovery Coach, and a Licensed Teacher. She has an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, and a Master’s degree in Psychology. Jamee is a member of the International Association of Professional Recovery Coaches, the National Education Association, and both Kappa Delta Pi and Psi Chi academic societies.
Jamee has extensive experience working with a variety of non-profits, military programs and families, drug court and probation, youth and adolescents, and several church programs. Through this work, she helps individuals to better their situation by building a strong, positive future, while connecting them with community resources as needed, and guiding them to reach and maintain their goals.
Jamee, in her coaching practice, guides her clients through self-discovery activities, utilizing strengths-based methods, to identify and leverage personal strengths, while addressing obstacles, to build and execute a personalized plan for each client as they begin their journey to creating and living their best life.
